Welcome to our Youth Enrollment!

 

Youth are not required to have their own equipment for participation. Our goal is to give youth exposure to different styles of archery and ensure they are set up with equipment correctly before they purchase their own.

If your child is new to archery, they must first complete a Try Archery program intro or schedule a one-on-one intro at a defferent time (cost for one-on-one intro is $60).

The next step: participate in one or more of our 4-week small group classes where youth will continue building their skills through activities and passing of our initial levels.

 

Once levels are passed (timing for this varies from youth to youth), they can join Dragon's Guild or JOAD.

 

If your child already has experience with a bow they may skip the Try Archery or intro and join a 4-week class or youth program depending on their level. They will need to participate in at least one small group class to assess their level.

*Participation in small group classes or youth programs includes access to the range at other times during the week (no additional charge). We encourage youth to shoot more than once a week, particularly if they are interested in pursuing competetive archery. ​

1. Try Archery - Prepares you for either team with training on safety and the basics of form.

2. 4-Week Small Group Classes - Helps youth continue building their skills in form and shooting accuracy, preparing them for our other programs. 

• Dragon's Guild - Our casual youth team centered on games and fun less than scoring and tournaments

• Dragon Flight JOAD - Our competitive youth team centered on tournaments and improvement through more personalized training and one-on-one coaching sessions.
